Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thursday morning Hunter played hooky from school to go hunting with daddy since it might be the last time they get to hunt because David is going to be working so much this month and finally the day came where they saw a buck and FINALLY got to shoot. They have seen several when they have hunted previously but David didn't really want to shoot a small buck so he kept telling Hunter that they couldn't shoot and it would make Hunter so frustrated. He just didn't really understand why if you see a buck why you couldn't shoot at it. David wanted the small bucks to stay alive and grow and get bigger to shoot another year but of course being 6 years old all Hunter wanted to do was kill one. Well finally Daddy says OK to shoot one. It is not a big one but Hunter was thrilled. It was too far away for Hunter to try to shoot but Hunter will assure you that it is HIS buck even though Dad shot it. David shot it for Hunter and that is fine with Hunter. He is very proud. They took it to the processer and will get the horns and skull for Hunter to hang in his room. He can hardly wait. What a memory for my boys to have! It was a fun day for them both. They both cant wait to have another day like that.
